Want to call your Facebook friends via video chat? Soon enough you’ll be able to. Earlier today one of our readers sent us a link to one of Facebook’s cached JavaScript files which reveals a number of clues as to a soon to be released video chat service. There’s no way to mistake the code which is still currently accessible. There are actual notification messages including “Waiting for your friend…”, “Video call denied.”, “Incoming call:”, and “Loading video call…”

A few days ago we mentioned some of the ways in which third party sites and services were tapping into Facebook Connect for interactive ways in which to experience today’s inauguration of President-elect Barak Obama. But there are a number of applications on Facebook’s platform that are doing the same.
This morning we hear of Watch Together’s special version of its Facebook app, called Obama Together, enabling Facebook users to host their own inauguration party online. Users can host a live video chat with their Facebook friends, while watching the live stream Ustream coverage of today’s inauguration.
