SocialCash Launches New Ad Network for Facebook

If you thought the race to launch the best social ad network was long done, there is another player to ad to the party. Gratis Internet, a Washington D.C. based web advertising agency best known for their free iPhone advertisements, has announced the launch of SocialCash, a suite of products designed to help monetize applications on the social web. Currently, SocialCash is running on over 200 applications with an initial set of 15 beta partners including Friends for Sale and Hungry Machine, the developers of Visual Bookshelf and a suite of social applications.

On the surface, the company is extremely similar to Social Media and competing social advertising networks except that they have extensive experience in advertising sales. They also have a large suite of technologies and services which cater to the advertisers including Gratis Network, RedirectAds and FreePay. SocialCash is their most recent addition to the portfolio. The company also has a large base of advertisers much of which are based in Europe.

I have had the opportunity to speak with the people at SocialCash on numerous occasions about the future of social advertising. They believe that catering to the developers is of utmost importance. They have been able to assemble a valuable network of advertising partners in Europe which help them generate above average CPMs while continuing to filling inventory (which has been a problem for a number of networks).

If you are looking to monetize your applications I highly recommend checking out SocialCash. While the social advertising space has become crowded, very few networks have been able to provide stellar CPMs. It appears that SocialCash has been fairly successful so far and I expect their success to continue at least through the near future.

  3. I wish Gordan and the SocialCash guys well…they certainly know how to generate revenue online, so if any app dev next helps from someone, turning to them is not a bad idea.Quick question though, i came across <a href="http://www.myofferpal.com” target=”_blank”>www.myofferpal.com when i was checking my 'honest box' messages in facebook, and i noticed they were powering the social currency monetization system in that app. Any difference between them and SocialCash?
