Snooki Facebook Game Coming Soon With Rest Of “Jersey Shore”

Snooki ImageGet ready to have Snooki, of “Jersey Shore” Fame, appearing in your Facebook feed, thanks to a new game that is scheduled to be released later today. The game, which will also be released for the iPhone, “allows online players to square off with one another in humorous one-on-one battles between animated versions of the outrageous cast of young housemates, using household items that play on scenes from the show”.

MTV Networks has produced the game as a promotional tool for the new season of the Jersey Shore. Snooki also appeared on her own reality television show, “Snooking For Love”. She was the “Jersey Show” cast member who was best known for getting punched in the face, not once, but twice, on the popular and controversial television show. As the show’s second season approaches, Facebook users will have the opportunity to square off against each other.

Snooki was recently slammed in a New York Times article which featured the up and coming star. The article starts off:

FLAKE, cow, loser, slut, idiot, airhead, trash, penguin, creep, moron, midget, freak, Oompa-Loompa, nobody.

I’m not sure anybody would want a featured article about themselves to start that way. The article also includes an interview with her father, “Papa Snooks”, who also operates as Snooki’s manager, yet “doesn’t understand the public’s fascination with his daughter”. He says himself, “it’s very hard for me to see what it is. She don’t sing. She don’t dance. I don’t want to say she don’t have talent …” Despite her father’s lack of understanding about Snooki’s popularity, that popularity has lead to an upcoming Facebook game which we’re definitely looking forward to.

You should be able to view the game once it’s announced later today on the Jersey Shore Facebook page, which can be found here.
