It appears as though the scammers are becoming pretty clever with the latest scam on Facebook being an application which claims to enable a dislike button within feed stories. While the application doesn’t appear to harm users, it quietly updates their status without the user being aware. Users are then prompted to complete a quiz, which will eventually result in the user losing money after they enter their mobile phone number.
After completing the process (as first illustrated by Graham Cluley), users are redirected to install the FaceMod Firefox add-on which provides a dislike button add-on. In recent weeks there have been a number of similar scams, all of which tend to generate thousands of dollars for the scammers behind the misleading applications. Some of the more recent scams include a fake Justin Bieber video, a McDonald’s customer application, as well as a number of others.
Most of these scams have been taking place over the weekend when most of the Facebook employees are not on staff to handle the problems. Ultimately Facebook will shut down this application, however in the mean time, plenty of people have been exposed to the scam. Make sure your friends don’t fall for the scam by sharing this article!

No crap you say! I knew the damn thing was a scam because if the morons who are now on FB had any brains, they'd search for the URL of the creators of this BS app, and find that they have not more than 2-3 different registered domain names under slightly different spelled "dislike.info" websites. That should reveal how scammy it is right there. And I posted as such on a friends wall who "liked" that stupid page and told them not to trust 3rd party apps from people who can't freakin spell. 12 damn years of school English classes and so many boobs out there.

What's more, you are an idiot if you click on their "fan page" and it does not allow you to do anything and demands that you like it before revealing anything or redirecting you to a website. Get a freakin clue.
