This morning while browsing through out our Facebook application statistics are, I noticed that the leaderboard had changed drastically. Many of the top applications were no longer appearing which didn’t make much sense. After browsing around I noticed that most Facebook applications were now reporting their monthly active users as 0. It’s a minor glitch but it ended up throwing off all of our statistics and developer stats are not being reported properly as well.
Most developers probably don’t notice a substantial impact since they use services like Google Analytics to track the number of visitors to their applications, not relying on Facebook’s public numbers. Facebook has had a few minor glitches and this one is definitely a minor one. Some developers have been reporting that the entire platform has gone down for large periods of time but it’s only in select areas.
Some applications will witness black outs that result in substantial drops in their traffic for a short period of time and then suddenly the traffic returns. The downtime has been unexplainable but I can state confidently that the traffic most definitely didn’t drop to nothing in the past 24 hours. Have you seen your traffic drop at random intervals? Have your users also dropped to 0?

This is not a minor glitch, this is a very severe glitch. It affects all allocations and positioning on the directory. Since this bug I have begun noticing a decline in new users. Facebook has even prioritized this as a Priority 1 bug and its Severity as Blocker. So please change it from a "minor" bug to a major on in that article.

As Francis said above, its actually really serious in the impact it has on our directory placement and notification/request limits. It has been an *ongoing* issue since earlier this month, and their stats system has failed 3 times this month.

What angers me is that we had well over 7K DAU's yesterday and the system shows 3,500 we know this from our analytics. Sad that FB is making such big mistakes in this department!

You think its a glitch, well most of my friends have cancelled ALL applications because of viruses and things not working correctly, everyone is sick and tired of their computers being hit by the apps. and even more tired of going to their favorite app and it being 'down' for a revision, but its down all the time!!
nothing on facebook is working correctly, there is nowhere to actually complain about it. I have one friend who cannot post on her OWN WALL and cannot complain about it to anyone, because the links to 'contact facebook' only go to complaints from other facebook clients. there is no easy access to the powers in charge. You have even stated on this site that they FB have won a law suit for tons of money with a hacker, well they need to use that money and take care of their FB program, have REAL security department and an actual complaint area where they can truly be contacted.
Facebook is becoming more and more useless frustrating.

This is just another problem in a number of ongoing issues. Stats won't get update for a day or two (0 new users), then there will be a huge jump. In the end, the numbers are about right.
Facebook really hasn't been spending much time maintaining the stats/insights. Ever go to the "Features" tab in insights? The date drop downs start from 7/7/08. Thats over 300 items in a drop down menu!

has anyone experienced the site sticking and going to
microsoft application that states there is malicious
activity and then redirects back again to facebook.
On my computer it just keeps happening to the point that
it is impossible to play or do anything but get redicected
back and forth from facebook to microsoft page.

i have not been able to get into to farmville everytime i try to get there my computuer freezes up? it does the samthing on my husband computer? why all of sudden this happen? cant figure out what to do? there other on facebook that cant play farmville either? why please help ?

I have been unable to collect experience points today. When I go to someone else’s farm and get the 5x credit and then return to my farm the experience credit remains the same. I am also unable to add new neighbors. This started today. Is there a fix in sight and will I ever be able get the credits (35 total)?

Hi I am haven trouble giving gifts in Mafia wars, Mob 2 Farmville, YoVille, FarmTown. Also it say that when I except them it say that person is not on my friends list? I tryed refreshing clear my cookies, history, and what not. Please I would like to send my friends a gift they keep sending there gifts but I can not send any please help !!!!!!!!!!

I am suppose to have a barn raising but when I went to post it I couldn't so I'm remind it I need ten people to click on my barn but there is know barn showing for them to click on also I bought a cottage and somehow it was missing a couple of days later

I play Farmville from Facebook. I have well over 30 neighbors and only a few show up on My page I play from. Then when I go to send gifts the list show all. I would like to have them on my page and most of all you give me Credit for all of them

I have gotten two chicken coops in eggs and when ever I put them on my farm from my gifts it doesn't stay, it goes back in gifts and there is a proper spot for them
I even put some chicken in to see if that would keep it on farm and lost them too

can not play farmville at all:
it keeps saying refresh and when i do, it just repeats itself!!
will this ever get fixed???? It’s been a week now.

Will someone PLEASE contact me about my farm on facebook.I was working on it last week , went to send some gifts to neighbors and when I went to get back on farm, it was gone. I not only can't find my farm I am unable to start another one . My family has even tried putting me on as their n eighbor but win't do anything.I have written you 4 times now and have only had a answer back the 1st day. you said and I gave you over 48hrs. Nothing has happened yet and now you don't answer back. I don't know what to do!!!! PLEAAASE HELP

this is crazy, out of sync messages and no gifts when sent by friends and not being able to claim gold and afer ever action i have ti refresh and can not keep avator locked down so neighbors wont fertileize my farm
