If you are a page administrator and have not yet got around to adjusting the size of your tabs, now would be a good time to do so.
Facebook announced last October it would be reducing the maximum size of custom tabs from 760 pixels to 520 pixels wide. This was originally due to take effect by early this year but the deadline has been pushed back several times and many page owners have yet to make the necessary changes.
A Facebook spokeswoman has now confirmed the changes will likely take effect this month. “We’ll move forward with the update in the coming weeks,” she said. “Developers and page owners can keep an eye on the Developer Blog for the latest.”
The new size will likely make it easier for users on small screens. It could also enable Facebook to use wider ad formats as are already being displayed elsewhere on the site.

This has been a long time coming…kind of a case of "hurry up and wait". It will be interesting to see if the change is really implemented this month and how many pages break because of it.
