If you are a user of Live Messenger, you have probably noticed a new feature added to the application. Facebook is now integrated into the application enabling users to view and update their status update as well as view what their friends are up to. This integration highlights the partnership between Microsoft and Facebook and also signals the continuing prevalence of Facebook across other applications on the web.
Facebook has become a more important communication tool for a vast number of users on the web. Unfortunately the application does not integrate Facebook chat features. As the number of chat platforms increase, applications like Digsby which enable you to chat with friends no matter what platform they are on. I’m guessing that one of these applications will eventually be acquired by a Microsoft or AOL as it is not as important about the platform the users leverage but instead the interface they use to interact with their chosen platform.
Have you begun using Facebook chat more often? How many chat platforms do you currently use? Thanks to PcPro for the screenshot of Live Messenger integration.

Interesting stuff, but it remains to be seen if Facebook can develop chat enough to kill off other chat clients. At the moment people will surely be sticking to their guns and staying with messenger and aim, especially with integration. But eventually, won't people want all of their media easily managed in one place?

Glad to see the answer to my question regarding why this feature wasn't available yet in Canada has been resolved by one of your commentators. That it had only been introduced so far in the U.K.Figures.

Unless the person who spoke is filled with hatred for Black people, their comments can not be decribed honestly and correctly as "hate speech". ,
