While we love covering the news about Facebook, we couldn’t resist having a little fun and checking out some of the more entertaining things people were saying on Facebook. If you’re looking for controversy as well as jokes, look no further than Lebron James who had a 1 hour ESPN special dedicated to him last week as he chose the new team he was going to.

If you want to know who the best basketball player is, you should look no further than one of the greatest basketball players ever: Michael Jordan. As this guy posts in his status update, Michael Jordan votes for Kobe. Given all the controversy surrounding Lebron, it’s not surprising to see Jordan vote this way.Michael Jordan Votes For Kobe
Conan O’Brien probably had one of the best quotes about Lebron James. As this individual posts in his status, O’Brien told the press that “I don’t care where LeBron James ends up—as long as it’s not at 11 p.m. on TBS.” Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Lebron James launch his own reality TV show. It would also probably help TBS boost their viewership, but I’m sure Conan’s spot is safe for the time being.Conan Wants His Time Slot
Jesse Jackson decided to speak out about the controversy surrounding Lebron James by stating that Cavs owner Dan Gilbert’s statement was treating like “a runaway slave.” Considering Lebron’s wealth it was an uncalled for statement and this individual, pictured above, decided to turn that into a joke. Jesse Jackson Mouths Off
One Facebook user made pretty good point about the ridiculous Lebron James special: shouldn’t another well known sports figure have their own one hour special? Granted, Steinbrenner is both loved and hated (like any other celebrity), but why shouldn’t well known sports figures from other sports get the same treatment that Lebron got? Where’s Steinbrenner’s Hour Special?
Were you damaged by Lebron James? Many citizens in Miami believe that Lebron’s move to the Miami Heat will be damaging to the local tourism economy. While it may be stretch, one clever Facebook user decided to set up a page dedicated to compensating those individuals in Miami damaged by Lebron’s move to the city. While I doubt it will gain much traction, it’s a pretty clever joke.A Lebron Compensation Fund?
One easy shot to take at someone who’s hated by millions is by saying something about their mother. One of the more popular updates posted by Facebook users was playing on Lebron’s mother’s reported affair with teammate Delonte West. Whether or not it was true, it was widely reported and has since become the punchline for many Lebron James jokes. Lebron’s Mom …
One of the most popular jokes I saw circulating on Facebook over the past few days was related to the Apple iPhone. As the status update above states, Apple is launching a new Lebron James version of the iPhone which only vibrates because it has no rings … ouch! Then again, with the Miami powerhouse, Lebron will have a better chance of finally winning a ring. For the time being, this is a pretty solid joke!Lebron Has No Rings!

You forgot what LeBron said to the Cleavland Cavaliers: "If you liked it, then you should've put a ring on it."

I dont know why people are so upset about LeBron getting out of OH-HIGH-OH and going to the much better Miami. Hell be on a better team, in a better city, with better fans, and way better management.

Congratulations to Prince Lebron for winning his second straight NBA MVP Award. Now he can put his focus on winning a NBA Title with Wade and Bosh.
Follow him on his journey to winning that elusive NBA title that eludes the true Kings of the NBA…(sarcasm)

Anthony- you don't even know how to spell the city in which you are from. That makes your credibility go down the drain, just like my positive feelings for LBJ.
