The much-hyped movie, “The Social Network”, which is a sensationalized version of the history of Facebook, has landed on the web. While not much more is revealed in the latest trailer, there’s a number of actual clips from the movie included in this video preview. It’s clearly aiming to be a dramatic movie and it’s actually looking like something worth watching. While Facebook is concerned about drawing negative publicity to the company, the clips don’t appear to be too damaging, although they definitely are drama-filled. You can check out the full clip below.

Movie looks like it's going to be pretty good.

Sorry but, still too melodramatic for me. Also, the clicks on actions, etc. remind me of the forced melodrama of the absolutely hysterical South Park Facebook episode. And again, other sites were first. They're really making this out like Facebook was the FIRST social network. That's bugging me.
Either way, I'll wait for cable.

WOW – looks pretty intense. I will be interested to see it when it comes out.

I accidentally had two tabs open playing the movie, so the audio from the other tab was doubled up on this one, a second or two behind "itself".
The movie looked a lot more compelling and abstract that way, and something I might be interested in. Once I closed the other tab, it looked pretty lame.
I also agree with Ally.

Well, I'm not sure I got the same feeling of Ally and veganboyjosh as far as it seeming like they're making it sound like the first social network. It may have been the first social network however exclusively for colleges. I would encourage everyone to check out the wikipedia article on facebook to get the story.
You know sometimes trailers make a film appear way cooler than it is but I think that this might actually be good. Time will tell of course but as the film's tagline says "You don;t make 500 million friends, without making enemies".
I think the enemies of facebook are just as good for facebook as the fans. Controversy creates buzz. And I think the enemies of this film (I may be one) will of course be a good thing for this film. Any press is good press.
