Farmtown Traffic Explodes On Facebook

I’ve played a lot of games on Facebook over the past couple years and many of them have been absolutely horrendous. Once in a while a great one comes along though and Farmtown appears to be just that. Over the past few weeks Farmtown has jumped in traffic to become one of the top 15 largest Facebook applications. What’s even more impressive is that 50 percent of those visitors keep coming back every single day.

It’s a rare game that is able to retain 50 percent of their users and I can understand why Farmtown is able to do that. The idea behind Farmtown is that users are given their own farm in which they can plow their fields, plant seeds, harvest crops (to sell), raise animals, and essentially build an entire farm from scratch. The game is somewhat addictive and best of all, if you’d like to know when your crops are ready for harvesting you can turn on email alerts to get notified.

Farmtown also presents a basic virtual world in which users can interact with other users in real-time. Want to just chat with other users to discuss strategies? Head on over to the local Inn. Want to hire some helping hands for your farm? Go to the marketplace to find some people who can help. It’s a fairly basic game but it can quickly become addictive as you strive to earn more money to build up your farm.

So far in the game I’ve only grown rice, grapes, potatoes, and tomatoes. And yes, my tomatoes bring all the girls to the yard. If you try out the game, make sure that you don’t grow grapes if you don’t plan on checking back every couple hours because the crops go bad quickly. As you progress through the game new challenges will appear, such as crows that eat your crops.

Thankfully you can purchase a scarecrow to make sure the crows never come around. I’m honestly not quite sure what a lot of the other items are for since I’ve only spent a day trying out the game but I’m warning you that the game can quickly become addictive. This seems to be a cheap ripoff of the Nintendo game, Harvest Moon. Of course, I haven't played this one, so I could be speaking from ignorance, but all the Harvest Moon games (for SNES, N64, and I think there were other platforms) were quite fun, so I can see why this one would be popular and get a favorable review.

Nice to see good apps succeed. With no "tactics" whatsoever, this app already overtook competitor Yoville. Yoville made too many features resulting in slow loading and tactics like crew etc, ultimately going nowhere.Virtual worlds with real identity is good place to invest in.

I had to delete the Farm Town application after my computer started having problems. I updated my antivirus and things seemed to get worse. The new antivirus/spyware software was blocking things every time I got on to Farm Town. So, sadly, I had to lose my farm. *sigh*

Where did you get the info about crows? I’ve been playing FT for over 2 months now and am currently at Level 25. I’ve visited over 50 other farms and have yet to hear or see anything about crows. Yes, you can buy scarecrows at the FT store, but as far as I know, they are only for decoration.

You're correct, Momma. No crows in Farm Town, at least for now. But the game is still in beta. I expect we'll see crows and other challenges added to the game as it evolves.

I LOVE this game. I am at level 28, almost 29.

I have made many new friends from all over the world, have had so many chances to help out the new gamers,etc. All of the people I have met have been VERY nice, except 1.

I really enjoy the game and really hope will be added to it. I do understand it is beta.

My entire family helps me with my farm, including my fiance'. The game is basic,and it levels up pretty quickly.

I started out with lots of 4 hour grapes—must be harvested with in about an hour,and then I went to the higher cost foods. I trade crops with my new friends, and I also help out newbie gamers level up. I go into the market, and I pick up buddies for my buddy list, then I add as many as I can to my facebook page, and then invite them as my farm neighbors from there, they do the same. Users can go to neighbors' farms to clean yards… it gives extra coins.

Users make 25% MORE coins by allowing others to harvest for them,than if they harvest for themselves.

The land lots are VERY fair, however, I want to beable to upgrade my land even larger than the 24×24. The 24×24 costs 80,000 coins and is at level 25.

One must upgrade each land lot level before they can get to the largest. I am not aware of land larger thn the one that I have now.

I DO like the idea of the higher cost foods do bring in quite a bit of cash. I usually split my famr into different priced foods, and so that I can still farm everyday withsome foods while other foods are still growing.

The trees grow fruit slower if they are not lined up with other same trees. Once my fiance grouped all of my trees up next to the same…. the fruit grew VERY quickly.

The animals are amazing,and can be kept as pets, or sold for coins, however ,I wish there were more things that could be done with them.

For example: cows could give milk, chickens grow and randomingly give eggs,sheep could be sheered, Lamas spit,pigs get bigger for blue ribbon purposes,…. things like that. Nothing I would hope that would not offend sensitive minded animal lovers.

Cats should purr, dogs do bark, but they could do something more. The cats should run rats off. Dogs should bark at gamers who comes to the farm….something like that. lol

I know the animals DO move around,some chew like they are eating crops,they make noises, but it would be really fun if they did even more.

I have seen some of the horses trot to the barns on a couple of users' farms, but, I have yet to figure out how that is done. I thought that was so cool to watch.

Crows would be an awesome idea for those scarecrows in the fields. And fire for the wood please. lol

I know the extra props are for decorations, but they also boost up the experience points, and levels. So I buy hay, wood, pops, well….etc. just for the experience factor. When I do not need them anymore…I sell them.

The plows that are harvested do not need to be lifted up to replow. You can just plow right on top of the old plows. Sometimes there will be food under some that were harvested already…. that hidden food seems to be a glitch and still earns the farm owner money.

There are simple glitches that are not hard to get past, and are actually beneficial /proffitable to the farm owners.

The only way one can really loose out in this game… is by not playing it at all. The game is very addictive. I have stayed up for over 24 hours in a row at times.

I have also noticed MANY, MANY farmers love keeping their trees unharvested, so that the beautiful trees' fruits brighten up their farms….. other farmers allow the trees to be harvested. I allow harvesting of my trees.

I have also noticed that many, many of the gamers I have run into….. treats their farms almost as if the farms are real to them.

I really can't say enough good things about this game. The game is developed so that people help people.

I hope there will be or are higher levels to it than I have been told there are. lol

I do not want the game to end. lol

This game is easiest enough for almost any age to handle playing —- old and young. It sharpens up the mind, because you have to use many areas of the brain to play the game.

The server was wicked slow earlier today and now I’ve been trying to get on for several hours and Farm Town is just gone. Is it just me or did they have a crash or something? Does anyone know or is anyone else having this problem? I planted grapes earlier and so they will obviously be wasted. I can live with that…these things happen…but I can’t go without my Farm Town Fix!! I’m going nuts…anyone know anything? Is there a Farm Town website that I can check for answers?? Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Several of my friends can not get on, the crazy part is I can connect using my pc, however neither one of my children can get on using their laptop. they can`sign in on my pc & no problem at all. I can't figure it out. I tried aol,internet explorer & safari on their laptop & nothing!!

I am having the same problem I cannot log in at all! If all my crops go to waste and there are ALOT I won't have the money to replant them all! I hope someone knows what is going on and it can be fixed soon!

Addictive game to be sure, even with all it's glitches. For example you will constantly get server timed out errors and have to reload but I can almost forgive this based on how many people are playing. Harvesting, plowing and planting can take forever as you have to wait for your figure to come to the lot you are working on – sometimes he/she will take the long way around so you have to wait. It's especially frustrating if you have a large farm. There's another version of the game called My Farm – the makers could take some lessons from that game on speeding up the process. It's hilarious to go to the Marketplace and see all the people absolutely begging for work(you can hire people to do your harvesting). Some are rude and don't say please – those ones I'll never hire. I have no idea where the author got the notion there are crows that come around and eat your crops – trust me there isn't. The only real frustration is the makers have posted a notice that flowers would be available in 2 weeks (it's still there) but it has been almost 7 weeks now and lo and behold, still no flowers. All in all a fun game to whittle away hours with and you can meet people from across the globe. I hope Facebook is serious with this game and get the bugs ironed out and onto the real, non-beta version soon.

Cannot log into farm town from laptop, but I can from pc.

I have tried everything! Very aggravating. I ran new virus software and that helped speed up things tremendously, but still no farm town.

I plowed and planted a big area and spent a few thousand, and then, I don't know why, it went to some weird page, and when I paged back,all that plowing and planting just disappeared and the money didn't come back either! I sent a message to FarmTown about it. As of yet, no reimbursement. Still playing though.. fun game.

I love this game!! My son and daughter-in-law introduced my husband and I to this game. We are all now in the high 20's level soon to be in the 30's. My husband and I are losing sleep! We even set the alarm to wake up in the middle of the night to harvest our grapes. We have to plan it out when to plant, so while at work the produce won't rot. (I fortuntally can harvest crops while I am at work.) I think Farm Town has gone beyond an addiction to an obsession.

I LOVE FT, I have been playing it for like 3 minths now. I recently went back to dial up and man it hurts. It takes me 3-4 hours to plow, plant it all now. It my fav FB app yet. When you see the server has DC just click on your coin symbol and hit OK, it will disapear. Sometimes you have to do it 3 times but worth it as you don't have to reload the page. I find it loads faster if you goto the tool symbol and check the box so animals don't move.

I love Farm Town & I don't play video or computer games at all! I got a Facebook account and became a member of Farm Town. I love meeting people all around the world & I don't feel threatened by creepy strangers trying to make conversation.

The servers the host this game are the WORST! While the game is great fun, it really stinks to finally be working on a farm and then have the server connection time out on you, freeze up, or just boot you off!

While the developers are to be commended for a good game, they should also be whacked with a shovel for the lack of server capability.

When the server problems get fixed, this will be a TERRIFIC game! Until then, however, it is just so-so.

I love this game. I am so addicted i race home from work to harvest. I love hanging out in the marketplace and I have met some of the nicest people here. Now my problem is that the servers have been kicking us out for days. Tonight is the worst, cant get on at all and it keeps telling me the link is expired. Please dont tell us that the game is gone. Ill have to go back to yoville which is also addictive but not near as much fun.

i cannot see my sisters avatar…she can see me, but i cannot see her. the same thing has happened with my daughter's avatar. i can see her, but i cannot see her. i could in the beginning, but not anymore, consequently, we are unable to harvest each other's crops.

I noticed that people who plant without the spaces in between their fields have REALLY slow lag times with the game. Plus when they do that, the harvesting is REALLY poor too – the game acts as though the fields are obstacles and you have to walk around them to get to others. Who knows? I am addicted to the game but having everything disappear off of Facebook tonight is a blessing…

Not sure what is going on but all across the country, Iowa, California, Washington, and Florida, I know people that Farmtown has just disappeared off their Facebook accounts.. No application, no bookmark.. the gift requests still show on the home page, but when you try to accept them, they disappear.. and it takes you to an error page that says the page cannot be found..

We all hope it comes back… We love it…

the lack of farm town is a facebook issue – pet society and a few more apps are gone as well – hopefully the problem will be fixed soon but at least the programmers are going to extend the times for the crops to go bad so that no one loses their crops.

Update: The issue seems to have been caused by a glitch in the communication between FarmTown servers and Facebook.

FarmTown access will be restored as soon as these issues are solved.

We will be extending the 'Ready to Harvest' period so that crops do not go to waste due to this downtime.

Hopefully Farm Town comes back soon.. It is gone totally gone.. I play this game constantly.. especially nights.. and I will also say that it is one of the BEST I have ever played.. There is only one other that is also very good and that happens to be Green Spot.. BUT.. FT is the better of the 2… COME BACCCCCKKKK Farm Town..;) Please let us know what is happening.. It does not make sense that they updated the program one day before it vanished. I'm sure there is a perfectly good reason for a successful game to disappear. Most likely they will branch off into its own website and we will have to deal with marketing and advertising companies.

The program is too successful. Most likely they will transfer out of Facebook into its own website and we will have to deal with new terms. I'm sure they will salvage our accounts. We will all receive some information.

It does not make sense to just delete it.

I have set here, kicking myself thinking I must have done something to delete the F from my aps and tried everything possible , including calling everyone I know who might, no matter how little, know something about how to unblock my Application, which I felt sooooooo foolish for unbeknownst to me blocked…. jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh! Don't worry Folks… I read the Forums on Slash Key and Facebook's server is not playing nice with FarmTown's Server. So they are working the problem and have extended growth times while they are repairing the problem, so you shouldn't lose your crops to this glitch.

I love this little game. It takes my mind off my unemployment troubles, and encourages me that something will come along… even it is a farm with a stupid dog. I really did wish we could get to choose more of our animals. I love the dogs and cats. the latest Rooster was cool.

I have to say I love this game and freaking out that I cant harvest my cabbage! I am not a video game player but ran across this and said what the heck and tried it, I have twice set my alarm clock to make sure my harvest didnt go bad..I am a addict!! I have been very sad in the last couple hours farm town is gone. I am a daycare provider that works Sunday thru Friday night and the only thing that is really calming to me is farm town i play while the kids are napping and when they go to bed i need to know where it is. I need it to keep me calm please give it back to US!!!!

I am so sad. My entire family plays farmtown, some in US. Some in Chec Republic, China, it is so sad I miss it and I just bought beautiful flowers and an entire farm of pumpkins ready to be harvested. Maybe it is a lesson that we all need to get a real life in the real worrld but I dont want to!!!! I want my farmtown back please!!!!!

FarmTown is currently unavailable. We are researching this at the moment. Bear with us while we try to restore access.

Update: The issue seems to have been caused by a glitch in the communication between FarmTown servers and Facebook.

FarmTown access will be restored as soon as these issues are solved.

We will be extending the 'Ready to Harvest' period so that crops do not go to waste due to this downtime.

Update – 12:50 AM EDT: ETA for FT to be back online is at 1 hour.

Now the application is just gone. Is it because the growth in members playing this game is just too overwhelming? It would be great if you didn’t have to wonder if you can even connect to the game, or even stay connected after harvesting only 5 crops. I would stay with it if the application can rebound.

All of a sudden I was booted out while working on my farm and now I cannot get back on. I have even tried other computer. What is going on? They just upgraded it and now it doesn’t matter if can’t get on. I can’t wait until someone gets this fixed so I don’t have to delete it.

i cannot see my sisters avatar…she can see me, but i cannot see her. the same thing has happened with my daughter’s avatar. i can see her, but she cannot see me. she could in the beginning, but not anymore, consequently, we are unable to harvest each other’s crops.

The same thing happened to me. I can get on Facebook, but my FarmTown application disappeared, including the bookmark. Yesterday it was running extra slow. I’m wondering if it was running slow because of all the new stuff they added. I’m also wondering if the reason why it disappeared is because the makers of Farmtown are trying to solve some of the slowness problems. I don’t know. But I want to get back on FarmTown.

This is serious business here! I may need tranquilizers to get me through! haha. Two of my farmtown friends and I are texting this late at night — just freaking out about this. Kinda scary how addicted we are. Levels 30, lots of stuff and coins already built up. Went to the myfarm app. just to start another farm and get the plow/plant fix!!!
If they did have a stand alone website, maybe it would not have so many program problems, like getting timed out and kicked off.
I need my farm!!!!!!! Hurry Back!

What the heck happened to farm town. Once in a while a game comes along that is acutally fun to play..I log onto facebook and want to check my crops, as they are due tomorrow, and now the whole thing is gone. Can’t someone tell us something..this is not good…hope it comes back…

It’s all a plot! The government has taken Farm Town down and when it returns, it will require fees to be paid if you want to play. They’ve got to pay for the bailouts and we’ll end up subsidizing real farmers. And we’ll all be share croppers with an overlord who will randomly extort take what he needs to build his empire.

dont blame farm town or face book take a look at your isp BT Broadband are over subscribing there connections and useing traffic shaping to slow your connection to a crawl have a look at sam knows broadband report the first in the uk with proper answers http://www.samknows.com/broadband/pm/faq.html
then decide if you want a slow BT conection or a fast connection with another sevice provider,i have made it to level 28 in just over 2 weeks with my super fast connection .before i changed i couldnt stay logged on to face book or any download or games site without connection timeing out have funn and ditch BT

This game is fantastic, who ever thought of it i take my hat off to you.My little boy thinks that if you have water wells you should be able to grow crops faster and that the animals should do more, also you could use the windmill to produce flour ect he has some brill ideas.But i must admit this game is very addictive and brings out the kid in me as i'm sure it does many adults lol. My friends & I are so addicted, we’re thinking about starting a Farmtown Rehab center! It’s great fun, as well as a challenge. The different levels give you incentive to want to keep going & do better. I just hit level 28. I want a greenhouse & it won’t be unlocked until level 30 . . . so Oh Yeah! – I’m gonna keep on playing! I do think, however, the game grew faster than anyone anticipated – there are definetly some kinks they need to get worked out!

I'm afraid I have to agree with Marshall's post from May 13. If you're single, Farmtown can be a great companion. As for me…all it has done is stolen my wife. All she wants do do now, is sit in front of her computer screen. And 99% of that time is spent on Farmtown. It's what she does before work. And the first thing she does when she gets home from work.

Having a problem with buying windmills, have bought two and they show up for a second, then it tells me I have reached a new level, that's when the windmills disappear. I have spent $80,000 and nothing to show for it, complained to creators of this game, haven't heard back..My cousin told me she just lost several trees.. What's going on with Farm Town??

People beware! My computer got a virus through farmtown! I can't even play my game.I have cotton going to waste. I saw one other person on here with the same problem. It appeares as an anti virus scan. I also updated my anti virus and it didn't help. Sadly if farmtown or facebook do not fix this I won't be able to play farm town any more. We need to complain! If this pops up on your farmtown get out. It will freeze your computer!

I have been having trouble seeing others on Farmtown for 2 days now. This includes neighbors and in the market. I can't even be hired or hire anyone to do anything. What's up? Refreshing does no good and I am not the only one with this problem. I have entered chat logs at the market and inn and at least I can see the comments and the users alot of them are having the same problem. Anybody got any ideas??

I lost plowed fields also, "( they were there when I went to bed & got up this morning & they were gone & so were my coins grrrrr !!!! I have been having problems with the computer freezing up & stalling, also sometimes Tom & I are the only ones in the market place, OH !! one more thing when I harvest the words stay on the screen so it is hard to see what has been harvested & whats not !!!! seriously thinking about quitting !!

It seems we are having another episode similar to the one everyone posted in June.

Will they also extend the crop lives this time so we won't lose all of the harvests and time/money invested?? They get us into this game and then we are cut off again. As if the changes implemented just days ago didn't cause enough problems.

Yes, it seems it has crashed. My wife, my son and myself play and none of us can get on to the server so it is definatly their problem. Got crops ready to harvest as well…hope they take that into consideration when they fix it.

Looks like it's down world wide. Which really is sad seeing as how many people play the game. Since the upgrades folks are having a real hard time…. Why can't they leave the game alone…I know they need to keep making it intereting…but crashing it, is not the answer.So Farm Town whatcha going to do for all the farmers out here in cyber space…. Give us our crops or coins and experience. You have the choice, There is going to be a lot of angry farmers…

I can't get on either. Thank goodness I am not forced to harvest for, probably, another 14 hours. But I'm missing out on tending farms and earning coins/points. Not happy.

I have not be able to get to my farm at all since yesterday. I have very expensive crop that should be ready to harvest that I will lose if it doesn't get fixed soon. Does anyone know how long these outages take and what causes them? I have only been doing Farmtown for about a month, but think I will go to something else if this is a common issue. This is TERRIBLE!

It's only a game…. Settle down…

So let's see if we can put this addicting habit down for a few hours and enjoy the rest of what life has to offer…

So my crops, spoil… It's a minor set back… I am confident these computer nerds are scrambling to get the application back on-line…

One does have to remember, we all have a life… smile

I was able to get on this morning and harvest and replant, however, I have not been able to do so since. I had two gift requests and when I tried to save them, lost both of them. Hope they get this fixed soon as both my husband and I are playing and he will have crops to harvest soon. This is crazy!!!!!

I haven't been able to access my Farm Town since earlier today either. Thank goodness…now i know it's not just me. I think the game has grown far faster than the developers can keep up with it. Thanks a lot, Burt….get me addicted and then take it away. Is there a rehab program for this?

I have been having withdrawal symptoms for about 12 hours now. lol I, too, have crops to harvest, but I am more diappointed because I was looking forward to planting my fields in a mandala pattern and watching the changes as the various crops grow. You think I am spending too much time on Farmtown?

I hope they are able to fix it soon. I got laid off 2 months ago and this game is reawakening my thinking mind.

There are some network connectivity issues between our network provider and Facebook servers.

We are working on solving this issue, but don't have an ETA at the moment.

We will be extending the "Ready to Harvest" time by 1 day, so you will not lose any crops due to this down time. Come back tomorrow and your crops will still be good as new.

Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

seems were all experiencing major problems on all our websites,,since north korea starting hacking the web and sending out virus and bugs its affecting all our sites.be careful and make sure your antivirus protection is always updated or you could be getting viruses and not even knowing it,,I also tried adding the farmtown on my myspace after not being able to get it to load all of a sudden on facebook and it wont load there either and at the bottom of the page while its loading it says 17 out of 20 loaded with 4 errors,,be aware ev1 for soon they might have to shut down the net completely and do a major overhaul.

I too have crops that will be, or already are, ready to harvest…Im going crazy over here! I feel sort of pathetic in a way because Im so addicted to this GAME..haha! Many of my family members as well as friends play Farm Town and we're all just about ready to pull our hair out, lol! I hope they get it up and running soon…I keep checking back from time to time to see if its working…but Im disappointed each time. I NEED my fix, PLEASE get Farm Town up and running again! *Hopefully they've added some new things, especially upgrades for land…for putting all of through this mess..hahaha! I think we deserve some sort of "apology" gift! Haha!

Ditto everything above for today. However I've been sitting here since 11:30EST and have FarmTown withdrawl so bad that I keep hitting the refresh button constantly! I've played out my Farmville plot – not a scrap of ground left to plant a cow to milk or a tree to harvest and I've used every energy and stamina point in Mafia Wars and added every friend – in between hitting that refresh button! Love farming – my grandson has set a goal for me and he keeps tabs on how I am doing. Now I am unabel to get to my farm and am getting behind. My only suggestion at this time is more ways to gain points.. Please get my farm up and running.

I am also addicted to FarmTown. And it is sad that we are unable to get on right now. I found a site on the web that said they are trying to fix it and that they will give you a day after it is back up to harvest your crops. The sad part is that some people can get on and some can't. Makes it frustrating for those of us who can't. And I play FarmVille also, and am unable to load it now too. It has now been two (2) days that I've been unable to get on FarmTown. and then FarmVille is down today. Ughhh Oh well, guess I can clean my house or mow my yard while I'm waiting for it to come back up. hehe Hang in there all, I'm sure it wont be too much longer and we will have our Farms back.

I am upset with it today because my corn fields all disappeared, and I didn't harvest. It wasn't ready, and it didn't go to waste, it's just gone! I just lost hundreds putting it in and now thousands since I cannot market it. They had better fix these problems, or a lot won't be coming back.

When I go on my farm my crops that should be ready are harvested to my storage and plowed fields are in there place but I didn't hire anyone to harvest. My trees keep getting done too It happens while I am off the computer. I feel like I have a farm town ghost. Is there anyone out there that is having this problem too. It has happened to my Mom too.

I play FT but not as much as restaraunt city this game is great 1st u need 2 follow the instructions when u play the 1st time,then u can go out on the street and see who your neighbors are they will be your friends on facebook,dont forget to visit the 1st time u get a free ingredient for your restaraunt,then u can shack the trees 4 coins,pick up garbage its not gross its only,pizza slice,apple core,chicken leg with bite out of it,pop can spilled,then u can see people using the toilet,they dont take their clothes off,some times the toilets overflow,u get a free ingredient every day & a quiz 2 anser on food, u need 2 feed your workers or put them 2 bed,u need a cleaner when u get 2 the level 2 have toilets,2 see people using toilets u can go 2 gourmet street,u can decorate the outside and inside of your restaraunt,dress your avitar with hats,tops bottoms facial hair,scars change your skin color 2 blue,dress your workers,trade food,rate dinners.

I play this game about 2 month now and I love it so much. After they fix the technical problem its turn bad to worst. For about a week I haven’t been able to pull up who is on facebook chatting. Can’t comment on what people have posted or send or receive gifts. The only people I can talk to are the farm neighbors in farm town. It is taking all the fun out of facebook when you can only read what other people are writing and you can’t respond or pull up the ones on chat to talk. PLEASE HELP!

One if the few games I enjoy playing on facebook. Have a problem every now and then but in all it beats everthing else I’ve tried. I’m on level 34 now, not much left ot do but do 4 day crops and go to the market and work. I heard they were trying to add more levels and fix it so u can buy more land, hope so. Farmtown is beyond what the programmers first thought. It has glitches and problems which can cause big headaches. I have wrote to the slash key web programmers several times my self. Your farm can only grow so big and then you have to quit because nothing more can be done; only so much land is available. Do you really want to spend all that time, just to have to quit later on? I know several people who were my neighbors that have quit. Maybe someday it will be the site facebook wants. Right now, it is problems after problems with a sad end in sight.

My farmtown app is going so slow, and for four days now it ahs been driving me bonkers. if i get a harvest job, by ther time i get to the farm ahlf the work is gone and it doesnt register that im clicking on the crops, then it freezes and doesnt do anything for ages. is this farmtown or is it my laptop? everything else is fine its just farmtown. My laptop was new on saturday past and ft was fantasticly fast until sunday lunchtime. Im seriously beginning to lose the will to live lol

I cant load in to farmtown. since last night. I got lots of harvestings to do. PLease help

I have been trying to get on farmtown now for 3 weeks and it just tells me to lick the tick to reload, but it never does. I guess I will just have to quit playing, I hate to, I had so may coins and things and now it's all lost. It really, really sucks!!!!!

When I go into farmtown it won’t load my crops, everything else is there. I checked my setting and they are all okay.
Does anyone know of any trouble out there?

My farm slides all over the place and I have a hard time placing crops where I want them and working on other people's farms the same thing happens. When will they fix these things? It seems they don't care.

I can not get on any games from facebook, they seem to be having alot of trouble. Very aggravating, all the hard work on the games and cant get on, or get gifts. I would have thought they

would have problems fixed in no time, but not seeing it happen. Yes, Farmtown is nice, but changes have been made on the harvesting and plowing, to slow farmers way down, making it not worth playing, and it needs to be more interesting as Farmville, with getting money for animals ect…

I have had Farmtown for a long time. I go to do others crops and trees, and I don't get my points. They just quit adding up. This is disappointing to me. I really like doing Farmtown, it is relaxing, and enjoyable for me. Anyone have any ideas as to where to go or let someone know that my points arent adding up???

I have been playing farmtown, but it started a few days ago that when i try to get on farmtown or cafe'world it will not pull up so i can't play , sometimes on farmtown when it comes up it's just black nothing else, on cafe'world it just shows irst screen and doesn't move,. anyone know how to fix this so that i can play…. thanks

For several weeks Farm Town is not paying the correct amount for coins and xpoints. I worked in market and got paid 14 coins for harvest and 3 for points. This is a very sad situation that you can't contact farm town to let them know what is happening. I am ready to quit playing my 6 farms and go else where. I have been searching for hours trying to find a customer service or tech support with no luck at all. HELP!

ALSO I AM NOT ABLE TO GET ON FT. SOMETIMES JUST A BLACK SCREEN AND SOMETIMES IT TRIES TO LOAD BUT IT DOESNT GET PAST 0%. I HAVE LOOKED ON THE ZYNGA TROUBLESHOOTING SUGGESTION AND WENT BY ALL OF THEM THINKING IT WOULD HELP ME WITH FT, I CANT LOAD ANY GAME. YES I LOVE FT ALSO IT IS QUIT RELAXING. i have harvested 6 pineapple feilds tonight and some others but i don't seem to be getting any coins it is still the same as when i started on face book tonight i should be on at least 7 million and odd now not just 6 odd

please what happened to my farmtown, its there and then its gone, it disappeared just after xmas, and friends helped me find it by readding me, now it is gone again i was on it a few days ago, why does it disappear, it dosent show up in my facebook search or in my applications

yes when I go to farmtown ,it start loading and is stuck at 11% and it`s not completing it,that I can play the game ,I am addicted to this game .I am on level 56 now ,all my hard work to get to this level,,,,,I want this game back soon.I have farm 1 and farm 2 and it is a good size .huge fields to works,don`t want all this go to waste…BRING THIS GAME BACK ,,FARMTOWN

All of the above questions/concerns are regularly addressed on the Farm Town Player Discussion Boards, and on the official Slashkey.com Forums. Most USER problems are due to not clearing web browser caches or not following the player guidelines.

FarmTOWN is the cleanest farm game app on facebook. No bots, no viruses, no spyware, no scams.

Farms NEVER disappear from the servers, even if you delete the app. Reinstall it and your farm will still be there.

Some issues are due to f/b and not the game. Some are due to flash players needing updating.

i think they should get rid of facebook completely its crap to many problems and causes alot of shit people should get a life instead of sitting on their arses all day this site nearly cost me my relationship because he was never off it if you are single thats greatbut if a relationship it isnt worth it this is why couples dont talk anymore

hi well facebokk dont have the problem. farm town does, sevarl people and my self has had ishes with our gifts that peopl send us , last nite i sent my mom a gift, and she could not get, but then my girlfriend sent one and dad did to she resived those, so can yall fix this problem, please cause shoot i love playin farmtown , and other games but farmtown is the main game i play.

well,i`ve played cityville and it`s up there with farmville,in fact i think i like citeville better,i`m tired of farmville,you go so far thats it.and you can`t get land like you need.thats a big problem for me.i`m going no where.you have to buy this farm be fore you get land on the other. sharon
