Facebook is growing like wildfire. According to an article released this morning, Facebook has shown a 90% increase in traffic since March! The runner up, Bebo, showed a 6% traffic increase. According to Trendcatching, Facebook is growing at a rate of 3% per week, which is 100,000 users per day! Additionally, a whopping 50% of Facebook users return to the site every day. Bottom line: Facebook is demolishing the competition. Another interesting note here is that according to articles I’ve read over the past few days, MySpace growth has become practically stagnant. MySpace has a couple weeks to rapidly adapt, otherwise they are going to be in serious trouble.
