Facebook Moves Closer To Becoming Your Startpage

Search Time ScreenshotThanks to Ankur Shah you can spend even more time on Facebook. Ankur has taken advantage of Google’s search API to allow you to search the web from the comfort of Facebook. Soon enough you will never need to leave the Facebook site, unless of course you want to actually visit any of the search results. Regardless, in less than two weeks the Facebook application platform has moved much closer to becoming the official startpage of web users that don’t know what a start page is! Even web veterans have flocked to the site given all the press and desire to grasp the new platform. This is an exciting time and it will be interesting to see what new applications emerge in the coming weeks. In the meantime, check out the SearchTime application.
