The Facebook Monster Strikes Again!

A few months ago, the team at JESS3, led by Jesse Thomas, developed the original Facebook monster, an image which depicts Facebook fending off little Twitter birds. In the latest version of the Facebook monster design, there is still a Twitter bird, but only one, and it’s much less a part of the image than the previous iteration. While you can interpret what you’d like to from the image, I’d say that it means the Facebook versus Twitter battle is not as significant as it once was.

The monster, which is drawn in the shape of the Facebook “F”, also includes a number of icons representing the type of content found throughout the site. Checkout the latest version of the Facebook monster below.
