Facebook Launches Ad Credits Program To Attract New Advertisers

-Partner With Us Icon-In a move to drive new advertiser registrations, Facebook has launched the “Facebook Advertising Credits” program (as explained by Net Jacobsson). This new program enables web-hosting companies, domain registrars, online marketing services, and other companies to provide their customers with free advertising credits to test out Facebook advertising. I would guess that a large number of service providers will jump on this opportunity to provide free credits to customers.

Over the past few months Facebook has been providing companies with ad credits on a case by case basis, but now they have formally set up the Facebook Advertising Credits page for all companies to submit inquiries. This is a huge move by Facebook as they push to drive more advertisers to their Facebook advertising program.

While Facebook ads have been used by companies of all sizes, it has become increasingly important for the company to educate small businesses on how to leverage the power of Facebook advertisements. The ad credits system will provide a huge incentive to many other online businesses and help Facebook drive new advertiser registration.

Facebook has been working on new ways of generating revenue and one of those components is clearly spreading awareness of Facebook’s current business solutions. This is a great step and I’m hoping that we seen more programs like this to drive new advertisers to the site. Have you tested out Facebook advertising campaigns? What types of results are you experiencing?

  1. FB ads have been terrible: 0.15% CTR on average.

Some as high as 0.8%, but not consistently.
