Remember the days when you couldn’t access Friendster because the site wasn’t loading? How about the annoying page on Facebook saying that they were performing server maintenance? This morning I received a message stating the following: “Hey, your account is temporarily unavailable due to site maintenance. It should be available again within a few hours. We apologize for the inconvenience.” What the hell? Don’t you know that I have a blog to maintain? This is completely unacceptable. I have to be honest, I kind of thought that Facebook was invisible to the troubles of past social networks. Looks like they may not be. Darn it! Guess I’ll just have to weather the storm.

I'm not sure which is worse: 25+ million people suffering from social withdrawal or the revenue that all of those people who built apps are losing. I have the same problem! The weird thing is, I am the ONLY one with the problem. My friends and family are logging on without any difficulty but when they try to click on my profile it comes up as a big question mark with no content. Why would I be singled out like this? I am getting paranoid…

I have been getting that error message since Wednesday and it's Sunday now. I've emailed about 6 times. The 1st two times I received an auto-responder that says their working on it and should be back with me soon. I haven't even received an auto-responder to the other emails. Guess they don't even bother to send an auto-responder if you write to them more than once or twice. Everyone else that I know is not having problems signing in. Wonder why I can't sign in…. BTW, if you have a problem, and would like an auto-responder message, you can email them at login@facebook.com or info@facebook.com. I tried to call their "tech support" at 650-543-4800, but they wouldn't help me and told me to send an email to info@facebook.com. Hope this helps someone when they are in the same position I'm in.

You deleted my account!!! Totally Disabled it!!!! Why? I wasn't spamming…I wasn't running a business…it was personal. I was playing a GAME!!!! I invested a ton of money into Mafia Wars, and I'm not even talking about the time I spent downloading pics of my kids, friends..etc. Or how about the all the time I spent on the game that YOUR website has on it…and you deleted my account for it when others have many more friends or players than I do!!! why do FACEBOOK doesn't fixed their maintanance at 2007???
i do have a blog on facebook to write on.
if it keep happen and happen again, maybe is the end of facebook glory…

guess what, another one who cannot get on, i have 2 acc on facebook, one business and one personal, the business one is working fine, the personal one i cannot log on and get the maintanance message – though it was my computer and did the usual clearing temp files, cache etc but when i log on with other account, no problems
WISH SOMEONE WOULD GET IT FIXED as all my friends are on my personal one

It's February 13, 2010 and I received the site maintenance message while I was still logged in and working in my account! This is crazy!! I can't imagine that my account needs several hours of work. I have pages to update for work!
What was the outcome of the site maintenance for everyone else?
When my friends go to my profile, they see that my profile is unavailable. I'm a little upset!

Today is may 9th 2010 MOTHERS DAY my family live away from and were going to send me wishes on my wall for mothers day. PROBLEM my site is down for maintenance and its 9.05 am and has been down since 10 pm last night. My friends and family can't even get to my profile up its also unavailable due to maintaince. Surely they can get it fixed?

I am also having the same problem. Has anyone had this happen, and what was the outcome? Were you able to log back on after the site said a few hours? Did they delete your page? I see some of you guys are still waiting after even 6 days?? That is ridiculous… Well in the meantime, GET OUT IN THE WORLD and do something productive, maybe facebook is running our lives in an odd way? They should have a FB anon group nowadays,seriously my teenage kids have to be pried off the comp!
