Facebook has begun making the application and games dashboards available in beta to Facebook developers for testing purposes. While it may be available to more than just developers, the links to the preview pages were not visible to those users who don’t have the Facebook developers application installed based on users we’ve spoken to. While Facebook posted last week that they would be rolling out dashboards in the “coming weeks”, we didn’t expect them to make the service widely available so quickly.
Instead, it’s likely that Facebook has made the dashboards visible to developers so they can see the impact of the dashboard APIs that have been available for some time now. Currently missing from the dashboards pages are the new navigation on the left-had side of the page as well as the featured applications in the right-hand column. The fact that much of the page is bare also leads us to believe that this is currently limited to developers only.
While it appears that developers currently have the links to the dashboard preview pages, non-developers can access the Games dashboard preview page and the Applications dashboard preview page even if they don’t have the developers application installed. This is all part of Facebook’s roll out of the dashboard and we’d expect more signs of the transition to appear over the coming days and weeks.

It doesn't look available to people unless they have the dev app installed.

I don't think that this app toolbar will have a negative effect on the FB experience. I'm not sure i can install it, though, as I am still running Windows 2000. (unhappily)
Will there be a choice between the toolbar and the invites?

There is a big dangerous bug, dashboard shows to you friend application you have been used even if application didn't post nothing as "userAction" or if you didn't allow it to do.

its not a bug just a feature. and yes it allows for the discovery of new apps.
overall this is a nice interface (what i can see of it) and i think it will be very useful for learning what apps my friends are using so hat i can join them.
I hope they make this opt-in much like extended permissions.
"farmville would like to display your game activity. give farmville permission to display on dashboard?"

in my friends facebook account when he chooses the Games Dashboard in the left corner he sees 3 titles:
Your Games
Friends' Games
Game Stories
my question is why i cant see the third tittle "Game Stories" and how i can activate it…
