While the following video doesn’t have much that stands out to me, one thing has really grabbed my attention: how much Facebook has become an integral part of many peoples’ lives. I had a good 30 minutes of conversation last night with two individuals who enjoy Facebook chat but could give you hours of feedback on what the downfalls are.
Thanks to Amanda Mooney for posting the video. It’s a great example of how much Facebook chat has already had on at least one college girl’s life (not so sure about the other girl though!).

I have a facebook acct with a business section. What do you think of putting a twitter link on facebook? I was just attempting to do that but it said that Twitter would pull my friends info. Is this proper? Am I taking their privacy away from them if I do this?

I have several segmented friends lists. Is there any way to post so that it only shows up on the news feeds of the friends on that particular list and not on the news feeds of friends that are not part of that particular list?

I was wondering if someone can help me PLEASE! I am the admin for the above restaurant's FB….when you log on to their FB, it doesn't go to the Profile, but rather the review page.
I am getting ready to send an email blast to announce us being on FB, and want to include a hyperlink, but it is MY username!
And they say I can't change it! HELP!

When signing up for a Facebook account, I entered a fake birthdate. Now, I cannot log in because I cannot remember what birthday I used – what I get is a CAPCHA field, which I correctly complete, then, F'book asks me for my birthday before I can get to my home page. This is where can't remember my fake birthday, and my correct birthday doesn't allow me to log in. Can Ia get your advice, please? Thnak you.

Big Brother Watching???
Hi,
I had a customer who ran into something that i cannot explain. He set up several facebook accounts using absolutely unrelated email addresses, phone numbers and so on.
Yet some of his friends received "you may know this person" for some of his accounts which in no way were related to those friends.
HOW Facebook know who a person might know if it is not by an email, not by phone number, then what else?
Who do they share information and what information? Do they tap into GMail and Google Apps and Yahoo and hotmail email accounts to do data mining?
Can anyone please explain it? I dont even know how to explain it to a person who came to ask about it.
This seems way too unlikely yet i dont have any better explanation.
