The co-founder and chief executive officer of Facebook vacationing in a country where the social network is banned? Mark Zuckerberg and his girlfriend, Priscilla Chan, have been in Vietnam since Dec. 22.
The Los Angeles Times reported that Zuckerberg and Chan arrived in Vietnam around Dec. 22 after Zuckerberg was granted a two-week tourist visa Dec. 16.
Thus far, according to the LA Times and VnExpress, Zuckerberg’s and Chan’s itinerary has included:
- The “Hanoi Hilton” prison in Hanoi last Thursday.
- A mobile phone shop that same day, where his bodyguards would not allow fans to take pictures with him.
- Ha Long Bay (pictured) on Christmas Eve, where the couple went kayaking.
- Christmas day at an ecolodge in the northern mountain town of Sapa, where Zuckerberg rode a buffalo.
Readers: Do you think Zuckerberg and Chan are vacationing in a country where Facebook is banned to stay off the grid, or is the social network’s CEO trying to remedy the situation?

Probably a little of both.

He's on vacation, who gives a damn whether FB is blocked in Vietnam or not? Do you think he's really in the situation where he needs to care about business while he's taking some days off? I don't think so.
