CrowdStar Launches Fourth Game On Facebook: Happy Pets

-Happy Pets Logo- After trying to stay under the radar for the past few months, CrowdStar, the company behind the fourth largest game on the Facebook platform, Happy Aquarium, is launching their fourth game: Happy Pets. The application first debuted last Thursday and already has over one million monthly active users, approximately the size of the company’s other two games: Know-It-All Trivia and Restaurant Life. The company has great ambitions, with a goal of taking on Zynga.

While you would expect Happy Pets to be similar to Playfish’s largest game, Pet Society, it’s not. Instead, the goal is to adopt as many cats and dogs as you can and to take care of them. While you can purchase furniture for your house, just as you can in Pet Society, there are no activities to participate in outside of your house. The game is well developed though and has grown quickly in the past week. While none of the company’s new games have grown to be as large as Happy Aquarium, CrowdStar is investing significant development resources.

According to the company’s Executive Chairman, Peter Relan, the CrowdStar believes they have a unique business model. Relan says that CrowdStar recognizes “that the entire value chain, including the way you actually build, deliver and manage games has also changed, and traditional development models aren’t optimal for this new market. We believe we are building the most efficient, agile and profitable business model in the industry.”

While the company isn’t saying how much money they’re making, with one of the top games on Facebook based on both monthly and daily active users, it’s in the millions. We’ll definitely be keeping our eyes on the CrowdStar team over the coming months as they establish themselves as a leading social gaming company.

They have no toys except a laser for cats and I see no point for cats for you play with laser, maybe feather, I don't believe cats would actually sleep on ground. I seen cats sleep on rugs or something that get their fancy. But they have no scratching posts or something that makes the kitties naughty. Like destroyed furniture? Or pee on the floor? I seen cats do that? Why add dogs why not goats?

I would like to see more animals like birds or hamsters, Even though CATS ARE AWESOME!!! Just like in "Happy Aquaruim", we need cheaper food prices and the animals should get sick every once in a while or bring them to play in other's houses in a cage. More furniture like cat beds and upgradable food bowls and litter boxes would be nice. Once again, like "happy aquarium" we should be able to use any of the floors with a certain amount of levels up or friends and not pay for them.

i would love to see hampsters or guinea pigs or ferrets. that would be really awesome. cant wait for the dogs to come out. The adult cat's tails bother me tho because they are scrunchy and i would love to see cute accessories like collars we could put on the animals. id buy them. Love the game and im always on it just as Happy Aquarium. Only cute facebook games out there. Keep up the good work boys!

I like that you can get chance animals like in "Happy Aquarium".You can get Blue Leopards and (new) orange tiger cats! I just got one, and gave two to my brother, (and a blue leopard too) Dane (who's actually me, but I didn't want anyone else to have them).

biggest complaint–why can you only have 5 kittens at once!? we should at least be able to expand the room or something like you can in happy aquarium so we can buy more without having to sell the others.

um ya… there definitely needs to be dogs and soon because the cats are getting really boring although its still a fun game… and you need to be able to get money other ways than just cleaning and playing with your pets and other… you should be able to play games like in happy aquarium…. or you should be able to train them i guess…

The dogs have actually come out! I've already bought four. You can breed cats, and I'm sure they will make it available on dogs too. Better buy them now before they start making them pricy and locked until a certain level. Dog food bowls are a dollar. They are so cute!

What is going on with "Third Party Issue"? That doesn't sound good. It doesn't sound like a technical problem and that troubles me. Do not close Happy Pets down! I hope you can expedite resolvinge this issue. I have 2 "expecting" pets and miss this website very much!

I love this game! I seen were someone is having trouble breeding i did at first.The trick is make sure they not hungry,you have to select a male first and then select breed then pick female and hit breed button it will work 9 out of 10 times! I have breed my pets several times with great success. Thank you!

Happy Aquarium works, Happy Island works, why no Happy Pets?!!

Have babies about to be born… pets are starving!! At least send 'Fan's' a message.. oh, wait.. we cant go to the fan page either!!

Please resolve this issue, or at LEAST let us know our pets are safe!

PS: I can not play Happy Aquarium with FireFox, so when I try to use the in room link (clicking the aquarium), the page never loads. I have to get on IE to feed fish. Makes no sence. I can't play most of your games with IE I have to use FireFox.

why is the game so slow?? There's a 15 second delay between each action. It takes about half hour to clean, feed and pet a room of 4 animals. It's annoying as heck. I love my pets, but the delay drives me nuts…..

I don't like Happy Pets too much. Turtles, rabbit, duck, and hamster just available with Facebook credit. They don't even have a rug or carpet to make the room looks better. The goods price are too expensive if remember every piggy bank just worth 15 coins. I play it because I don't know why, my computer only load this game. It can't load the other

I wish the people who created Happy Pets, which is a very cute and fun game, could see the wisdom of offering better gifts to

give to friends! There is almost nothing that is practical. Think more about the pets than the people. 99% of the time

instead of sending a gift I just send food. At least the animals can eat that. Why don't you offer some toys to give as gifts?? Please, spend a little time thinking about this and you will realize this is a good idea that would make the game so much better. And obviously I'm not the only one who thinks this.

I play Happy Pets and all your other games for that matter. When Happy pets came out with their new idols I bought a 3 day XP and a 7 day XP idol and my daughter a 3 day idol. None of them worked I have written the support & support FB credits for about 6 weeks. They sent us idols in our gift boxes. I pulled out my 3 day and it said 0 on it and disappeared,then my 7 day had a 2 and it worked for 2 days. My daughtewr also did the same thing. I have begged them to help us for 7 weeks to NO avail. I have tried everything!!! I just want my FB credits back at this time but still no response!! Can you help I am owed 8 double experience point days or 59 FB credits for me and a 3 day for my daughter or 24FB credits. Can you please respond and tell me where I can go to get back what is owed to me? Thank You, Kathleen Engel

I think Happy Pets is the best internet game ive ever played but the good things cost credits and i dont like how you have to pay for credits i like the turtles but all of them have credits on them i was lucky as i got a male brown turtle from a lucky box and a female turtle for free (samarai turtle) so i started breeding them. I do like the jackalopes but 62 credits ripp off for a vurtual pet

I THINK THERE SHOULD BE A WAY TO FEED ALL OF YOUR PETS AT ONCE. THEY SHOULD EAT QUICKLY INSTEAD OF WAITING FOR THEM TO WANDER OVER AND SIT THERE AND THEN EAT. um ya… there definitely needs to be dogs and soon because the cats are getting really boring although its still a fun game… and you need to be able to get money other ways than just cleaning and playing with your pets and other… you should be able to play games like in happy aquarium…. or you should be able to train them i guess…

The dogs have actually come out! I've already bought four. You can breed cats, and I'm sure they will make it available on dogs too. Better buy them now before they start making them pricy and locked until a certain level. Dog food bowls are a dollar. They are so cute!

yay you can breed now! you click a male, click the breed button then select an adult female, but i think it only works with cats of the same colour but i have 2 rare animals! blue leopard and hamster! cant wait for rare tiger stripe cat, my cousin has one that i found

I love Happy Pets so much! But I would really like it if people could go and play with other peoples cats. Also when are the Blue Leopard Cats gonna come back on for chance? I meen, I like them but 82 dollars? I'm willing to buy credit stuff for them but 82 dollars for a cat just isn't gonna be possible for a while.

What is going on with "Third Party Issue"? That doesn't sound good. It doesn't sound like a technical problem and that troubles me. Do not close Happy Pets down! I hope you can expedite resolvinge this issue. I have 2 "expecting" pets and miss this website very much!

I love this game! I seen were someone is having trouble breeding i did at first.The trick is make sure they not hungry,you have to select a male first and then select breed then pick female and hit breed button it will work 9 out of 10 times! I have breed my pets several times with great success. Thank you!

Happy Aquarium works, Happy Island works, why no Happy Pets?!!

Have babies about to be born… pets are starving!! At least send 'Fan's' a message.. oh, wait.. we cant go to the fan page either!!

Please resolve this issue, or at LEAST let us know our pets are safe!

PS: I can not play Happy Aquarium with FireFox, so when I try to use the in room link (clicking the aquarium), the page never loads. I have to get on IE to feed fish. Makes no sence. I can't play most of your games with IE I have to use FireFox.

why is the game so slow?? There's a 15 second delay between each action. It takes about half hour to clean, feed and pet a room of 4 animals. It's annoying as heck. I love my pets, but the delay drives me nuts…..

I really like how you can breed them and all don't get me wrong I love the game but I just wish that we could buy things where we wouldn't have to give them our credit card number i just wish everything were game coins and I also would like to be able to take at least like one of our pets over to a neighbors and play and let our pet breed with there pet, But thats all I ask for but other than that I love the game

You all are very dumm this game is a scam, yea money scam my account is -$1,890— to stop them from charging me I had to shut down my card, and now I can't get a phone number to call anyone nor a e-mail account BECAREFULL got my grand son a $5.00 credit to buy a pig, and they never stop charging me every day 5 to 6 times! check you bank accounts please they are ripping you off!!!!!!

I don't like Happy Pets too much. Turtles, rabbit, duck, and hamster just available with Facebook credit. They don't even have a rug or carpet to make the room looks better. The goods price are too expensive if remember every piggy bank just worth 15 coins. I play it because I don't know why, my computer only load this game. It can't load the other

I wish the people who created Happy Pets, which is a very cute and fun game, could see the wisdom of offering better gifts to

give to friends! There is almost nothing that is practical. Think more about the pets than the people. 99% of the time

instead of sending a gift I just send food. At least the animals can eat that. Why don't you offer some toys to give as gifts?? Please, spend a little time thinking about this and you will realize this is a good idea that would make the game so much better. And obviously I'm not the only one who thinks this.

I play Happy Pets and all your other games for that matter. When Happy pets came out with their new idols I bought a 3 day XP and a 7 day XP idol and my daughter a 3 day idol. None of them worked I have written the support & support FB credits for about 6 weeks. They sent us idols in our gift boxes. I pulled out my 3 day and it said 0 on it and disappeared,then my 7 day had a 2 and it worked for 2 days. My daughtewr also did the same thing. I have begged them to help us for 7 weeks to NO avail. I have tried everything!!! I just want my FB credits back at this time but still no response!! Can you help I am owed 8 double experience point days or 59 FB credits for me and a 3 day for my daughter or 24FB credits. Can you please respond and tell me where I can go to get back what is owed to me? Thank You, Kathleen Engel

I think Happy Pets is the best internet game ive ever played but the good things cost credits and i dont like how you have to pay for credits i like the turtles but all of them have credits on them i was lucky as i got a male brown turtle from a lucky box and a female turtle for free (samarai turtle) so i started breeding them. I do like the jackalopes but 62 credits ripp off for a vurtual pet

I THINK THERE SHOULD BE A WAY TO FEED ALL OF YOUR PETS AT ONCE. THEY SHOULD EAT QUICKLY INSTEAD OF WAITING FOR THEM TO WANDER OVER AND SIT THERE AND THEN EAT.
