Answers Come to Facebook

Answers IconRecently, answers has become a popular feature within social networks, specifically LinkedIn. Perhaps having answers is now a sign of a successful social network. Thanks to Adam Loving and T.A. McCann, answers has been brought to Facebook. Surprisingly this version of answers is relatively robust. There are over 35 categories, some of which seem redundant and some which are pretty random. Some of the categories include “coffee”, “iphone”, “cycling”, “india”, and “seattle”. This is a result of using tags as categories rather than predetermined categories. You can bet that this is going to result in an excessive amount of categories. Users get points for answering questions and receiving positive feedback, similar to Yahoo answers. While this application will need some future features, it is a great start! If you are in to asking questions or providing answers go grab the Answers application.
