Another Facebook Domain Lawsuit Coming?

Facebook Paris Screenshot

Just yesterday I reported on Facebook winning a lawsuit against the owners of Face-book.com. It looks like the same problem is happening as of today. The domain Facebook.fr now points to a ning social network titled “Facebook Paris.” It’s going to be more difficult for Facebook to pursue the owner of this domain given that they registered anonymously.

This may just be another example of yet another squatter but it’s going to be a hastle for those French individuals that have been mislead into thinking they are signing up for the actual Facebook. Apparently this domain was previously forwarding to Facebook. I guess the owners are looking to really encourage Facebook to acquire the domain from them. Unfortunately, I don’t know enough about the legality of the situation. Any ideas on what will happen?

Thanks to Ouriel Ohayon for posting about it and Bastien Demange for commenting on my post about the domain this morning.
