Ali Fedotowsky Dumps Facebook For “The Bachelorette”

-Ali Fedotowsky Headshot-Weeks after leaving ‘the Bachelor’ as a contender to keep her job at Facebook, Ali Fedotowsky has quit Facebook and is set to star in the new season of ‘The Bachelorette’. She made these revelations during her appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show.

When Ali Fedotowsky left The Bachelor, it was widely speculated that she would return to reality TV show soon but this time she would be The Bachelorette instead of trying to woo a handsome young man in the former show. Kimmel, who is not a big fan of Vienna, the girl who won ‘The Bachelor’ in the absence of Ali, interviewed Ali about her new show and her future ambitions. During the interview, the former Bachelor contender revealed that she is now also a former Facebook advertising accounts manager. Ali revealed that she has left Facebook to find her dream guy, but similar to her reality TV stunt, her affair with Facebook isn’t over yet. Ali plans to get back to Facebook once she has found her Mr. Handsome.

The interview however, took an interesting turn when a slip of tongue from Ali had Kimmel’s imagination run astray. While describing the kind of guy she wants Ali said, “I don’t think I’m going to be sitting there at the end saying I’m in love with five women” and then laughed realizing her mistake. Kimmel was not ready to let that go and asked whether she would consider dating women in the course of the show, to which Ali joked “That would make a good show”.

Well best of luck to Miss Fedotowsky on her future endeavors and it will be interesting to see whether she will return to Facebook and in what capacity. Maybe Facebook should start their own social reality show over the website in order to stop their employees leaving in search of true love!

The new season of The Bachelorette premieres May 24 on ABC.

  5. OMG, I liked Ali and thought she was great on the show, but didn't someone talk to her about her choice of clothing for this interview? She looked like she was in her slip and skirt! I understand wanting to look cute and sexy, and she is, but she looked like she forgot her blouse and no one said anything to her!

  6. No, pul-leeze. Not Ali. Didn't we have enough of her catty, abrasive confrontations. She is a pot stirrer and a manipulative drama queen. Like many of my friends, this is the first season I will be miss since we have had more than our share of Ali. Not sure I'll be back.

  7. "Ali said, “I don’t think I’m going to be sitting there at the end saying I’m in love with five women” and then laughed realizing her mistake." Yes, Ali keeps making one mistake after another. She couldn't find the courage to stay on the show and finish the fight for her "dream man", but she had the courage to now quit her job to star in her own show. We now can be sure of what Ali's really looking for. I am so disappointed in this decision. You've lost all the viewers I know of, including me.

  11. I agree with Honorlove, who cares if those others watch the new Bachelorette with Ali. Ali will have one of the best followings since Trisha and Jillian. We won't miss any of you complainers. Ali will bring some interest back to the program. If I were to say I would never watch it again it would be because of Jake who truly did not live up to what he said he wanted. Vienna a wife! Hmmm Vienna a mother to the children Jake wants! Hmmm Vienna is so spoiled that a child would not fit into her lifestyle. She tries to be sexy ! Sorry, your not.
