A couple months ago I launched the Facebook application statistics tracker which lets you view the monthly active users of pretty much any application on Facebook. Over the past few weeks, the numbers have begun to display errors and there were a few problems. I went ahead and fixed the problems but also upgraded the application statistics tool all together.

Today I’m happy to announce that you can now view daily, weekly, and monthly active users for each application. Right now we are tracking close to 20,000 applications, but I’ll be expanding that to track over 50,000 applications within the next few days. Every popular application is already pretty much tracked in our directory so it should be sufficient enough to get a good grasp of what’s taking place on the Facebook platform.

I have a number of additional upgrades coming soon and I also have some new products that I’m really excited about. I’ll be releasing those in the coming days and weeks. If you have any suggestions for how we can improve our tools please let me know. I’ll be adding a general feedback form to the site in the next day or so. One thing to note is that some of the daily active user statistics and weekly active user statistics go back no more than two weeks. That will obviously expand over time. In the mean time, go check out the new Facebook application statistics area and let us know your thoughts!
