Friendster Launches First Implementation of Facebook Open-Source Platform

Developers can now choose between the Facebook Platform, OpenSocial, or Friendster’s API to launch applications on the platform. Whether or not Facebook developers will actually choose to launch on Friendster is unknown but it just became a whole lot easier.

This is great news for app developers if they've seen significant decline in their app usage on FB. They just need to make it appeal to the Asian audience since Friendster is so popular there.
