Facebook Announcing fbFund Winners Next Tuesday

According to a reliable source, Facebook will be announcing the winners of the second fbFund this coming Tuesday. We have heard about a couple of the potential winners but unfortunately we can’t release those without compromising our sources. As such, all we can say is that Facebook has planned to announce the winner this coming Tuesday.
The fund which was announced earlier this year at f8, gives developers an opportunity to receive funding for their application ideas. A large portion of these applications have already been developed but need more resources to fully execute their ideas. The winners of the last round were CourseFeed by Classtop, GoalCamp, HotBerry, J2Play, LuckyCal, MyListo, Podclass, Trazzler, and Zimride Carpool App.
Back in September I posted that the second fbFund competition was underway. One winner, SocialFly, had a pretty slick CRM system. I’m hoping to see at least a few new useful applications this time around when the winners are announced next week. Congratulations to all the fbFund applicants that have receive their notification of winning this round!

I got notification my app won, and was told that all 25 apps would be notified by Noon today

they initially delayed the announcement by 3 weeks, and now another 4 days?! Clearly they're stringing people along, and that just feels plain mean

Just in case anyone has read the below comment about a winner being notified and everyone being contacted by noon today, I can confirm that this is absolutely not the case and have had this verified by FB Fund. This is just some idiot trying to get everyone else concerned, so please ignore it

If you have not been called by FB Fund by now, it means you are out. I think if you have been on the call, and have not heard back, it means you are out. Most likely, the winners have to sign bunch of paperworks and term sheets and if you have neither stop hoping and move on. I bet all the winners have been notified already, FB Fund and they are working on the PR script and the paperwork with each of the companies. It'll take them couple of days to get everything ready and get out on PR wire with TC and other sources.
