72 Comments »Early this evening a few users began reporting that a new login page began appearing for Facebook. This makes sense given the company’s redesign. This new homepage design and the redesign of their login page may signal the final transfer of users over to the new design. While we can’t confirm that all users have been transferred, there are many signs pointing to this being the final touch.
Even though the new design had launched, any user which visited the site without logging in was greeted with the old design. That is no longer the case. See the screenshot below for what the new homepage looks like. Facebook still has a fair number of upgrades that need to take place as not all areas within the site take advantage of the wider design.
Update
We are now seeing the new design as well. The new design shift may now be final. We are waiting to hear confirmation from Facebook that the shift is complete.
clear your cookies go back to homepage and you will get the old homepage
the revamp is currently on new.facebook.com (where you can log in). facebook.com hosts the old stale log in page but this likely to disappear soon as all of new.facebook.com is 'ported' to the facebook.com domain and old facebook is overwritten!
Facebook messed something up. I cannot log in, and I don't understand why. Every time I type in my e-mail and password they page comes up that says Server Not Found.
What does this mean? How can I resolve this situation?

I found out how to fix it.
Open a command prompt (Start>Run)
Type ipconfig /flushdns
Then restart your internet browser. It worked for me!
i hate the new facebook. I cannot log in half the time. It constantly says done to a blank screen. The only way I can log in is to restart my computer, clear all history, temp files, etc. and even then it only works sometimes. New facebook sucks!

i cannot login to facebook. Displays “page cannot be displayed. it is this site only, have tried multiple computers and i can login everywhere else. BEWARE there must be a new virus.

I HATE the new facebook! I get on FB a few times a week..I mean when I can… since it won’t let me half the time! All of my friends hate the “new” facebook, just shows that new is def not always better! I wish they would go back to the old FB!!!!!!
This new FB sucks, I always have a hard time logging in, I clear my cookies, still no help, sometimes i get lucky, GO, GO, Go BACK TO THE OLD FB.
It was fine this afternoon. Then earlier when i logged in i only had a half a page or less and the scroll bar on the right hand side of page is less than half way down the page too. It does not do this on anything else…just face book. Farm town is working the same way. please help
I haven’t been able to get facebook to open at all for a couple of days. The screen stays blank…cookies have been cleared, history deleted and nothing.

I can’t get into Facebook at all. Everytime I typed the website address on the browser bar, it takes me to Youtube.com instead. Why is this happening? What does Youtube has to do with facebook? Has anyone out there been experiencing the same? I’ve also tried to type faceook on google then when I get all the results for facebook, I’ve clicked on the link, & still takes me to Youtube. Please what can I do to fix this?
I get invalid email/passcode as well, but i’m afraid I may have made the situation worse….I tried opening up another account in my name (minus my middle initials) and it took….so I deleted that account….so now when I enter my email and passcode again, it re opens *that* account…I dont WANT that account– I want my old one back! I don’t want to have to reestablish all my connections to my friends and family!
