After all, FB started at Harvard and other elite universities. In fact, I'm kind of mad they opened up FB to high schoolers and the general public. It's gone downhill since then. All sorts of spam and fake profiles. All these sorts of people already had Myspace. I understand there's money to be made off of these people, but why base your business on all sorts of fickle people that will move on to the next thing first chance they get. It was far more valuable to have the captivation and interest of just the elite college students. Imagine going up to advertisers and saying we've got the next generation of doctors, lawyers and captains of industry checking our website compulsively. Want a piece of that action? Silly move FB.
