Today Facebook announced the hiring of a new Director of Engineering, Mike Schroepfer. Mike led the the development team at Mozilla and was CTO at Sun Microsystems. Mike will be reporting directly to Mark Zuckerberg until a Vice President of Engineering position is filled.
Facebook continues to hire top tier employees to add to its ranks. There has been a significant amount of discussion about new hires as well as previous executives leaving the company. In the media, many of the executive exits have been suggested to be a result of tension with Sheryl Sandberg, the ex-Google turned Facebook exec. Based on the people I have spoken to the company has been turned around since Sheryl joined and many employees feel the company is now on the right path.
As the company expands, I’m sure we will see an increase in executive hires. While the development team at Facebook was already a world-class team, I’m sure Mike Schroepfer will be a great addition.

I am not a big fan of social networking sites. I have successfully avoided creating a MySpace or Bebo account and until recently, I never intended joining Facebook either. Then I heard from an old school friend out of the blue and he suggested I join Facebook, so we could keep in touch that way and share photos - so I did. Since then, I have been on Facebook every day!

No it is not a bug. I am amazed - free SMS!

I tried Messmo before, but now my friend told me to try it again. I found out that I can send SMS and it is free. My friends also has Messmo and he got the message, but also when I sent to other friends who did not have Messmo they got the SMS as well, and I did not pay. This is very good - is Messmo paying ? Anyway I can also see when my friends are on-line - this is really good. Like IM but better.
Ohh…that’s why when I sent to my friend who does not have Messmo, my friend got the SMS. Messmo paid for it ! It’s amazing!

You will just need to remove your previous version of Messmo form your cell phone and access following link from your mobile browser: messmo.mobi. New version will install automatically.
I have downloaded Messmo on my mobile. Few of my friends also have been started using this software. It worked well for me as me and my friends can exchange sms for free of cost….

Guys, I got new version with MMS features… Now you can capture live snap and send it for Free to your friends. Best part is when your friend gets your snap, they can view the picture without download it on their cell.
What’s are your opinion about this version?
With this I can send new bikes snaps to my brother which is staying at Japan. He love sports bikes.. Really nice application.

Recently Messmo has launched new version with 2 new features- Voice message and Real MMS. Now you can send free voice message to your friends, no need to spend money on making calls. Have anyone tried that?

I have tried the cellity communicator software but recently I came across to the new mobile software application - Messmo.. which is same as cellity and out of both Messmo worked very well for me.
In my view say goodby to traditional sms and enjoy new voice messages features that messmo providing
Yes, it allows you to communicate with your friends free of cost, no matter where you are.
I love to send sms through my phone often. It’s probably because it’s free of cost plus you get to type your messages really fast and the best part is that you can even receive text replies back in few seconds..:)
Have you tried it with “m.messmo.com”? It is very simple way to access it through your cell phone.
