Well done, Nick. You're one of the few so far, and you got some good insights out of him.

Nick,

It sounds like you had a great conversation with Mark. What I love most about his attitude is that he is consistently focusing on helping people communicate more effectively as time moves forward.

For that, I totally respect and appreciate what he is doing.

Great work Nick. I like the hard-hitting, and I'm sure your knowledge went through. Virality, messaging and the future of the social web. Thanks for another source of great insight into the future of this market.

Excellent post Nick. I think we all wish you were the one who interviewed him on camera/at the conference.

Most of us feel a similar sense of drive as Mark...so I think we all just want a glimpse of what it's like to have the project you're passionate about grow into something that everybody is passionate about. $15 billion dollar valuations don't begin to describe almost 100 million people using your dream every day.

Congrats on getting this interview Nick! It says A LOT about your blog and the quality and objectivity of your content. Great questions and answers.

Were there any examples or ideas thrown around as to what the social web living outside of Facebook might look like?
