You got the traffic, and she got a big bump in book sales and notoriety. Not everyone outside the tech community will think she did a bad job. I think it worked out well for everyone except the disappointed audience. But that is partially due to the format. A keynoter should give his own presentation. It’s an ill wind that blows no good. In retrospect, she blew an amazing opportunity from a personal and professional basis by failing to do the job/role that was required. She may have just been using her normal interview techniques but it was the wrong approach at the wrong time.
