The Facebook community has unified around locating Kyle Fleischmann, a 24-year old graduate of Elon University, who has been missing since November 9. The group, Help Find Kyle Fleischmann-MISSING, has grown to over 34,000 members in the week since it has been created. With multiple media outlets covering the story, such as ABC and Fox News, as well as numerous television interviews on local and national TV stations. Kyle’s friends and family hope that the mass outreach will provide some information as to his whereabouts.

Kyle’s best friend, Daniel Scagnelli, a fellow Elon alumnus, has been leading the effort in locating Fleischmann. They were together at a local bar very close to Kyle’s home the night he disappeared. Daniel posted the following on the Help Find Kyle group’s wall:

“Kyle went missing on Friday morning November, 9th. He was last seen at Buckhead Saloon in uptown Charlotte leaving on cameras at 2:20 am.

Kyle did not return home or to his vehicle, he did not make it in to work. He called his sister at 2:19 before leaving the bar at 2:20. There is a gap of about an hour before he called myself at 3:28 and his room mate Bruce at 3:29. Kyle did not leave any messages and his phone was dead in the morning.”
