As promised, I have launched the AllFacebook.com video show. This has been a serious learning experience and we will continue to add features and improve our process. We hit a lot of technical difficulties in the production, editing and uploading of our videos. As a result, this video came out at 11:00 PM on Labor Day when I intended for it to come out in the morning. Such is life! If you have any suggestions, please make them. This is our first run and I will be extending the features. Thanks for your input!

NICE! Glad to see the first episode out. Is it going to be available for download on iTunes as a podcast?
Unfortunately as of now it is not … I should probably add that huh?

Nick,
The bartender example actually raises an interesting point.
50% of people use Facebook at their workplace. But not everybody has a desk job where they have a private computer with internet access. I think the number of users in that specific demographic would be considerably higher.

Nice job on the video Nick. Very impressive for being the first episode. Keep it up!

Hey Nick,
Just for clarification here. 50% of businesses have not blocked facebook use at work. Not sure where you got that figure.
Definitely not smart to say those sorts of things without having data to back it up. The reality is most North American companies are only acutely aware of facebook and have their IT staffs actively blocking facebook access. I would imagine it to be a very small percentage (possibly under 5%)
Cheers!

Hey Rodney,
I got it from a number of articles but here is the primary source:

…I would interview major facebook contributors like huge group creators, aplication developers, famous local artists using facebook and exprience users like highschool students and also odd users like 70 years old gradma. This is my input.

Hey Rodney,
It isn’t smart to say someone is not smart for making an assertation without a specific citation and then refute the statement they make with another uncited statement. Since blogging (especially your blog) doesn’t use an MLA citation or other citation mechanism for every assertation it makes, it isn’t proper to call out other bloggers on their lack of citations. Know the medium in which you write in.
Thanks,
Devin Hendricks

We at Students for Sensible Drug Policy’s national headquarters use Facebook all day long! Since we do student organizing (duh!) FB is a great way to stay in touch with our constituents. I even have a link to my Facebook profile in my e-mail signature block. I handle our congressional lobbying and media relations, and so I also try to connect on FB with Hill staffers and reporters I know; it’s just one more way to keep building those relationships and move our campaigns forward.

This is one of the most informative video in a long time! I am looking forward to seeing you being a talk show host!
