Will Facebook Damage Giuliani?

Yesterday news was published that Rudy Giuliani’s own daughter was a Obama supporter. It was a result of Lucy Caldwell a Harvard graduate navigating to Caroline’s Facebook profile. Until this morning she was a member of the “One million strong for Barack Obama” group. She has since removed it but is still listed as having a liberal political stance, contrary to her father’s political leaning. If as much attention was focused on this as there was on Kerry’s “flip flopping” in the previous Presidential election, I would imagine that it could have a pretty negative impact. Conversely, the Giuliani campaign will probably try to write this off as teenage rebellion or something of the sort. This is really nothing spectacular but it surely makes for a good headline (as was visible on last night’s Techmeme). Do you think this will have any impact whatsoever?
