Matches Brings Secret Admirers to Facebook

Thanks to Aryeh Goldsmith you can now have or be a secret admirer of someone. While at first shot it is pretty creepy, there are some neat aspects of it. If you become a secret admirer of someone else and they become a secret admirer of you, the application will send you a message notifying you of the match. This is pretty much the same model that HotOrNot.com uses. I’m sure that the use of this application will be a major traffic driver of the younger Facebook demographics. As of now the majority of users seem to be older, but soon enough my guess is that much of the MySpace crowd will switch over once slicker and stickier applications become available. Matches is just one of them. So if you want to let Facebook know that you have a crush on someone without them knowing, check out the Matches application.
