Just like the original, ask the Magic 8-ball and get an answer. Answers include the classic “Ask again later, Signs point to yes, Concentrate and ask again, Don’t count on it, As I see it Yes, Cannot predict now, Most likely, Yes definitely,” and more! If you want to find out about whether or not your secret crush likes you (and don’t feel like using the Matches application) or whether or not good health or wealth is in your future, ask the Magic 8-Ball. This is a pretty simple application, but extremely catchy. Already, close to 300,000 people have added the application. Jerobi Robison, the creator of the application had a simple idea and built it. This is the spirit of Facebook application development. The real question is how many entrepreneurs will develop large scale applications comparable to iLike and Top Friends? So far, not many. I have a feeling that this is about to change though. In the coming weeks we will start to see larger scale applications begin to launch. In the meantime, while we theorize and hypothesize about the future of Facebook applications, go grab the Magic 8-ball application.
